Equip yourself with the knowledge and skills to provide equal professional service to clients of all backgrounds.

 •Learn to identify protected classes under Federal, state, and local fair housing laws.
 •Explore the History of Housing Discrimination: from racial zoning and redlining to the impact of the GI Bill, and uncover how these practices have shaped housing patterns.
 •Current Day Fair Housing Violations: Explore modern examples of discriminatory practices such as steering, appraisal bias, and implicit bias.
 •Practical Application: Learn how to implement non-discriminatory policies and avoid violations in real estate transactions.
 •Stay updated on the latest challenges, including appraisal bias, pocket listings, and love letters in real estate.
 •Apply non-discriminatory standards to reduce the risk of a fair housing complaint. 

Approved for 3.5 hours RECE (RECE006863) and for 3 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Credits only for those who attend in person ($99).

This course fulfills the NAR Fair Housing requirement for 2025-2027. 

This course fulfills the PA Real Estate Commission requirement for those licensed before 12/1/2023
